Shero Talks

My Shero Talks give me an opportunity to share ideas, information, and inspiration.  Whether I’m visiting a school for an author visit, making an appearance on the local news, putting on a webinar for a local nonprofit, or participating in a film or comic book panel, I am there with the end goal of helping others believe that they can achieve.

Head of the Class

When it comes to my author visits and comic book workshops, I am not a stranger to the classroom. Though I grew up destined to become a storyteller, in high school my teachers were grooming me to become a school teacher. By senior year, I was receiving my last two school credits by volunteering as a teacher’s assistant at a local middle school.

Shortly after college, I spent a two years as a substitute teacher before moving to Los Angeles. Today, I use my comics, films, games, and Shero Talks to entertain and educate young people.

The Female Perspective

Being the “Queen of Comics” has given me a platform to reach women and girls from all over the world.
