Questions need Answers!

My author visits are approximately 60 minutes. I begin by talking about how I went from reading the Sunday funny pages as a kid to writing comics. I explore the process of how I plan, outline, and write my comic books. Then, I show a three-minute animated video. The presentation ends with a 10-minute comic book workshop where students help me write dialogue for a pre-drawn comic book page that they can print and keep as a souvenir.

The mini-comic book workshops that I present during my author visits consist of students co-writing a pre-drawn page with my guidance.

However, I am able to customize a more intensive comic book workshop for your students and/or a team building exercise for your employees upon request.

Please fill out my “Request a Visit” form if interested.

While I don’t offer discounts on my author visit fees, you may be able to receive Arts & Music (AMS) funding from your state’s department of education to cover the costs. For schools in California, you can look into Prop 28 for more information.

Several of my comic books are made for readers from 7-12. However, there are a few titles that are for the Teen+ audience. If you click on the comic book you’re interested in, the age range should be listed next to to the cover.

There is a secret page on our Shero Comics website that allows you to place bulk orders at discounted prices. If you send us a message on the Shero Comics website or email us: orders (at) sherocomics (dot) com we can send you the link.

A Shero Talk is a public speaking event where I come and speak to your students, organization, or audience and share my expertise in creating the comics, films, and games we’re working on. A Shero Talk can be an author visit, an appearance on a podcast or news outlet, or a more traditional public speaking opportunity. Similar to a Ted Talk, Shero Talks are meant to inspire, inform, and educate.

Please send me a message through the contact form to inquire about booking me for upcoming speaking engagements.

At the moment, we are still in the process of building our first mobile game, “Rayven Choi: Reaper’s Run.” You can keep up with our progress by signing up for our Shero Games newsletter and following Shero Games on Instagram where we’ll be announcing upcoming release dates, special gaming events, and conventions.
